The laboratory is under the direction of the Department of Metallurgical Engineering, Chulalongkorn University. As the experts, we aim to address problems of failures and degradation of metals through the state-of-the-art technologies in surface treatments and materials characterizations.

The goal is to incubate the new-generation of metallurgists with incomparable knowledge in materials sciences. Resources required for the development of technical skills and personalities are provided under amicable supervisions. Not only the pursuit in academic excellency, our graduates also feature with integrity and social awareness.
